John Ostrowski, percussion

John Ostrowski, has given concerts throughout the United States, Europe, Asian and South America. For two years, he was a member of the Verbier Festival Orchestra where James Levine is Conductor Laureate. In the New York area, he has performed with orchestras such as: New York City Master Chorale, Orchestra of St. LukeÕs, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Asian Artists and Concerts, School of American Ballet, and RedBull Artsehcro.

Mr. Ostrowski has appeared on the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Music NOW series. He has twice participated in the Lucerne Festival Academy where Pierre Boulez is Music Director. He has served as a guest artist, performing chamber music with Joshua Bell, and working with the contemporary music ensemble Fireworks. He is a member of the Line C3 Percussion Group.

Mr. Ostrowski has backed up such recording artists as Amy Grant. He is currently collaborating with Brazilian composer/songwriter Arthur Kampela and is the house percussionist at Libation restaurant and lounge. He holds a Bachelors' degree from Northwestern University and a Masters from the Juilliard School.
